Some fun fact about lemons:
• The primary use of lemon fruits is as a flavoring agent, as their very high acidity is too much for most palates. Fish are marinated in lemon juice to neutralize the odor and can actually cook some fish.
• In the Far East, it was known for its antiseptic properties and it was used as antidote for various poisons.

Hi my name is Angelie and I am from Miami. My favorite color is yellow, the color of the stars in the sky. When I was little my mom put lemon juice in my water. Since then I love everything with lemons in it. I squeeze lemons on my fish, chicken and salads. Lemons change the flavors of the food to exactly the way I like it. It’s totally amazing how that works. Combining different flavors and creating masterpieces of entrees for lunch or dinner or a yummy snack is totally awesome! My mom showed me how to cook in the kitchen, which comes in handy for after school snacks. My girlfriends Didi, Catherine and Samara love trying out my new dishes. Our favorite is baking lemon snowballs with mom. The best part is to eat them when they are still a bit warm! Hmmmm….
