Some fun facts about my seahorses:
• The seahorse is a graceful inhabitant of the warmer oceans. They swim upright and looking a little like a chess piece. Unlike other fish, seahorses are monogamous and mate for life. Seahorses are one of the only species on Earth where the male bears the unborn young.
• Seahorses have no teeth and no stomach. A seahorse can use each eye independently from the other, which allows it to search for prey without moving its body.
• The seahorse can change its color instantly to blend into its surroundings. This helps the seahorse avoid most predators because its coloration acts as camouflage.

Hi, my name is Samara, and I’m originally from Brazil. My favorite color is blue. I love horses. My dad is a Polo player so I grew up around lots of pretty horses. Its great that my girlfriend Didi wants to have a farm when she grows up this way we can all ride horses together. Riding them on the beach would be totally spectacular too! But in the meantime, since I am only 8,my girlfriends and I look for seahorses. I believe mermaids use them to ride in the ocean, besides they look like little magic horses that can swim very fast! It’s like a little racehorse, but in the ocean! My friends Didi, Catherine and Angelie always take our snorkeling gear with us to the beach. You never know what we can find in the ocean, it’s huge! Sometimes we get lucky and see beautiful colorful fishes. When we get too tired we use our boogie boards to float on to continue our adventure in the ocean.
What do you like to do at the beach?
